Brooks McDaniel is the Senior Vice President of Building Repositioning at STO Building Group, a global family of builders providing full-service construction across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. Specializing in the repositioning of buildings, Brooks provides clients with unrivaled expertise in this cost-effective and sustainable alternative to demolishing and rebuilding, with a goal of transforming outdated and inefficient buildings into in-demand properties that have a renewed market presence.
Brooks has a high-degree of expertise and experience with office-to-residential conversions in multiple cities. His knowledge of architecture, development, and construction issues relating to conversions has assisted buildings owners in moving these projects from concept to reality. Brooks is a licensed architect, with a Master of Architecture degree from Parsons, and is an adjunct professor in the graduate real estate program at Columbia University. He was previously a V.P. of Design at Extell Development Company, and a Project Director at SHoP Architects.
