Executive Vice President/Principal of Volmar Construction, Inc., a general contractor specializing in building renovation, new construction and facility maintenance contracts in the Northeast United States for a wide variety of Federal, State, and Municipal agency clients. Mr. Volandes has over twenty-five years of experience in public sector building construction which is utilized to design cost-effective solutions to complex building construction challenges for his clients. While at Volmar, Mr. Volandes grew the firm’s Job Order Contracting division into of the largest such groups in the nation, having completed over 200 of JOC programs covering over 20,000 individual job orders since he began at the firm. A proponent and believer of integrated project delivery, Mr. Volandes has participated in several such efforts on complex, multi-year building renovation projects for federal and state agency clients. In each of those instances, successful outcomes were achieved for all stakeholders through the development of shared design and project knowledge and a culture of collaboration. A lifelong New Yorker, Mr. Volandes is deeply passionate about historical preservation, sustainable development and affordable housing, and is actively involved in several such projects throughout NYC.
