Ralph Coppola, CIEC, serves as the New York City Office Director and Environmental Health and Safety Division Manager for Pennoni. He is responsible for overseeing day to day operations within the New York and Northern New Jersey region. In addition to his administrative role, he is involved in the technical aspects of projects pertaining to indoor air quality, lead, mercury, mold, and asbestos regulatory compliance.
Mr. Coppola has more than 22 years of experience in various aspects of environmental consulting, including asbestos, mold, lead, and indoor air quality testing. He has an extensive background in managing various aspects of industrial hygiene projects ranging from small scale private clients through property management and retail industries, to large scale projects for developers and architects. Mr. Coppola has also been involved in high profile industrial hygiene projects, such as the Former Nabisco Site in Fair Lawn, NJ, Macy’s Fulton Street, and various VA Hospital projects throughout Northern NJ and New York. In addition, Mr. Coppola has performed IH related services for counties, multiple state agencies, the federal government, and municipalities.
Mr. Coppola is a past president of the NYC Metro American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) chapter and currently sits on its membership committee. He is currently also a member of ACEC NY, ICSC, and NAIOP NY. He has also received an award from the Passaic County Historical Preservation Society for the industrial hygiene role performed at the Lambert Castle restoration project in Paterson, NJ.
